With the coronavirus pandemic putting so many people and programs at risk, the fight against cancer is in danger. In the past thirty years, the cancer mortality rate has dropped 29%. That means 2.9 million lives have been saved! We owe it to them and to the next person who hears the words “you have cancer,” to not give up.
Our live 24/7 helpline is open, and we are investing in video support. We’re providing new digital resources for cancer patients, caregivers, and survivors. And we’re virtually advocating for cancer-fighting policies that are urgently needed. The way we fight has certainly changed during these times, but our determination hasn’t.
Don’t let cancer gain ground. Cancer hasn’t stopped. Neither can we.
